I have never been to the Czech Republic, but my family , well my last name at least, hails from Pilsner and I am totally fascinated with someday going to see what the region and people are like.
ah yeah!!! I think you'll love Prague but what about the rest of country... you'll see Czech rep. is really great country.. I know, probably everybody would say about his country that is "really great" but.. btw, Pilsner..? wow!
I ADORE prague.. it's one of my fav 5 cities I guess... with Paris, Venice, Stockholm and Copenhagen... I've been there I think 5 times.. once before the '89... in winter.. lovely.. and also afterwards... both winter and summer... both with parents and alone.. and with my icehockey team.. for some tournaments and summer camp... it was awesome!!! I love stare mesto and mala strana... and get lost in the infinite small streets.. and the castle at night... and all the crazy people on karluv most and in oroloj namesti... ah... I'll go there back very soon!!!!!!
nice, honey! hehe, when I was little child, I also got lost in these small streets.. it was really funny..
eeheheh... sure... I remember very well one day in particular... I was about 14 I think... and I was in oroloj namesti... and on a small stage there was a couple of stree musicians... performing lennon and joko ono... they were so great!!!! a wonderful memory from prague...
ah yeaaah!! I love street musicians.. last time I was in Prague, some guy was playing Knockin' on heaven's Door and I have to say that he was awesome!!! really.. I just had to give him some money cause he was so fab! but.. when I was in Paris, I fell in love with street painters.. yeah.. In Prague you can see them mostly on Karlùv most.. and always there're so many tourists that I still never let them to paint me.. maybe another time..
