80s kids - What do you miss about the 80s?

I dont really miss the 90s, music sucked, so did movies for the most part

I miss the 80s, they still have not made movies quite like Predator, or Top Gun. Still yet to make a movie I love more than Return of the Jedi and Clint was the man

No one has surpassed the popularity of an early 80s Michael Jackson since, Thrash Metal was fresh and new, Rap was just getting started

And Margaret Thatcher was breaking balls 10,20 years before anyone was crapping on about workplace equality

Ahh, the 80s

 

break dancing/ Windmilling. Now I know why my neck and spine is so fucked..

 

I can remember there were cartoons. Voltron, Thudnercats, and of course G.I. Joe!

i remember when st helens blew

pepsi and coke commercials were interesting

the new coke fail

Thinking mostly along the lines of nu-metal, now there was a genre that blew chunks

Pop, there was Mariah whom I adored, but also Celine Dion no other singer has irritated more

But this is an 80s thread
