A huge earthquake devasted areas of Sichuan province in China. Tens of thousands have died and thousands more are trapped under rubble. The Chinese government's response has been very good considering the huge area and number of people affected. Roads have been closed by landslides making it difficult to get aid into the worst affected areas. In some towns most of the population was killed. Many students were buried under the rubble of what was once their schools. China's government has been unusually open with information about the quake including posting up casualty numbers. Holy crap! That's some earthquake! With all the problems China is facing at the moment, that disaster is one they don't deserve.
