I must recommend this movie to all fans of the genre. Very creepy in all of its aspects, great ideas brought to life. Add another to the list of Stephan King's all time greats. Great twist near the end- Watch for it
I watched this just the other night and must aggree, very good movie. ( doesn't take much to creep me out though).
We had a great time watching this movie! It's not "torture porn" or slasher as much as suspenseful. That's what I like.
A friend of mine saw it and said to me: "Don't go see it! It sucked ass!" But I had already seen it and liked it, so to each his own I guess.
i would have liked it a lot better if my sister hadn't told me what the end would be. i guess she didnt expect me to see it. but she thought the movie was hilarious, for some reason. i guess shes a little twisted : )
I loved it. I think of it as an example of the horror genre trying to get back on its feet after all the slasher shit that's been coming out for a while. Movies like 1408 and The Descent, films that know that you need some suspense, not just organs, to scare an audience are definitely steps in the right direction in my opinion.
dont really go for pg horror movies but i must say this one was bad ass!!! Not that cheesy pg horror like boogyman and others
Agreed. Though I did enjoy the movie, it was a bit of a let-down. I was expecting something a bit more thrilling. Not just the story of a skeptical man sat in a hotel room :stunned:
I absolutely loved this fuckin movie... definintely one of my top 5 movies of all time now.. that movie was absolutely sick.. i wish more horror flicks these days were like this one
King's stories always seem to be either hit or miss for me. I hope this one is in the vein of his more "classic" horror pics. But in my opinion Children of the Corn and Secret Window will probably never be beaten.
I thought it was pretty good...especially Mr. Giggles the killer clown that just popped up behind him
