The Perseids were fantastic this year. The night before maximum I was sitting on a balcony on the 21st floor in Toronto and saw one burn up only a few km up above us. The next night was even better; I was in a soccer field in Mississauga, less light than the city but still lots of light around. And still I saw several bright meteors. One of them left a clear and bright dust cloud as it burned itself up above us. This year is the best I've ever seen them. Azure
