    yes!

i was going to see him about 2 or so years back, but he cancelled the gig, then rebooked it, but it turns out that was when he had his troubles and lost his legs i believe? ooh i dunno cant remember

but anyway john martyn is grand, he was great friends with nick drake...

worth checking out the following people also if you like john martyn, i can send you tracks of any of the following if you'd like:)

Richard Thompson, Fairport Convention, Devendra Banhart, Souad Massi, Jan Akkerman, Tim Buckley, John Renbourn, bert jansh, roy harper,

ooh i dunno, there are lots but some of those are rather good fun!

The Incredible String Band are well worth checking out.start with '5000 spirits or the layers of the onion' or 'Changing Horses' Great english/scottish folk music with indian and african influences and instruments with a nice psychedelic touch

I must say that is a very, VERY good band! i will add a few for everyone to check out:

The Strawbs - one of the most under rated folk bands of all time, beautiful lyrics, very poetic
    Fairport Convention
    Delirium
Gentle Soul - very pleasant sounding late 60s folk
Itoiz - very beautiful, mostly instumental from Spain
Amazing Blondel - some of the most pleasant folk I have ever heard
    Aphrodites Child
Gravy Train - good english folk rock
Mellow Candle - Irish Folk Rock, beautiful female vocals
    The Trees
Rupus Zuphall - Germanys anwser to Jethro Tull and a very good anwser at that
    Tom Waits
Triode - The flute player studied under Ian Anderson and is just as good. Beautiful instumental music from France with lots of Flute

If anyone is intersted, PM me.
