My junker husband..a bag..& my family

I am in a picture sharing mood. The first pic is of what my husband ground scored on the side of the road yesterday for me. He is such the junker. lol One mans junk is another mans treasure, eh?

Second pic is of a bag I made a few days ago

Third pic is of my crazy family. My mom just sent me this pic. We went to her house for Easter dinner and she took the pic. She made us sit on the couch for about 74 pictures and this was one of the last ones. You can see that the little ones are over it. lol

why would anyone chuck that out????????? they re usually so expensive...over here(scotland) they go for at least £80!!!!ive been tryin to get one cheap at a charity shop for years with no such luck....you lucky duck!!! if you find anymore give me a tinkle!!

Lenore~ I have no idea why someone would get rid of it! It is in execellent condition! A tiny bit of rust on the metal inside but not much. I was just telling my husband the other day that I wanted one and lo and behold, one came to me. I love it when stuff like that happens!

 

lol ..ahh well the faeries must hav been listening! how cool..i wish stuff like that happened to me. got any plans for it yet, any ideas a brewing? keep us posted on wat you make on it...i cant believe that ,its soo unfair! lol

haha ok, the more i look at the family pic, the more I think my 2 yr old (on my lap) looks funny in it. She was so over sitting still for pictures that she started making faces for them. Here she is in 'normal' mode..not jacked on Easter candy at Memaws house. lol

 

Your family looks like my family when I was a kid! It was so much fun growing up with siblings. I wish I could have a few more kids so my daughter would have some, but I don't think it will happen.

Hey Cre thanks for sharin the pics;being a junker myself,this thread is in need of a man's prespective,I mean hell hippietoad is trying to road side swap her ol man,my wife would agree with you though toad.I will drag anything home,my wife will carry on,but when she gets something that I made from junk,it is different.

Ohhh i am sure you and my husband would be fast friends. lol He knows the dump guys by first name. He has scored so much stuff from the dump that was in execellent shape. A table saw last week, that works! I am not even going to begin to describe 'his' side of our yard. lol And, yea, those mama dump/roadside scores are always nice!

 

Sweet score on the dressform! I can't believe someone would just toss that. Those older ones are waaay nicer than the plastic ones of today. I have a new plastic one and it fell over once and broke Oh well my hubby rigged it up for me. Beautiful family!!!! Fabulous purse

 

i just checked out your website cre....some of your stuff is just soo beautiful...i loved the little silk mushroom dress/top, but alas there is absolutely no way my boobs would fitin to it!!! it has always been a problem!! i cant ever wear those really cute empire waisted dresses...well coz i end up looking like a sack of potatoes!!!

i especially loved your little patches..the moon cycle one was stunning and the bags,oh the bags! you really are extremely talented and i know your kids are going to get some of it! keep it coming!!
