    EDITED TITLE:

"I hereby denounce my belief in the places called heaven and hell"

    You should denounce likewise.

    Here is why.

We meet and gather together as the elect, to reach both states of heaven and hell, but we don't go to places called heaven and hell.

1 Cor 15 tells us we put on incorruption and put on immortality right wheresoever we remain, and just gather together, but do not go to places called heaven and hell.

Mark 13 tells us heaven (sky. not the state meaning one) and earth pass away! Meaning, 1 Cor 15 and Mark 13 are telling us heaven (sky) and earth are put off just as then incorruption and the immortality are put on!

To make this short, heaven and hell are reachable states accessible only when incorruption and immortality have been put on like a change of existence!

Again, heaven and hell are not places. Await the change of existence, please! We shall be changed! Not be raptured. This word rapture doesn't even appear in the bible. There is no rapture! Just better: THE CHANGE, THE PUT ON (see 1 Cor 15)!

As for the states... heaven is a euphoria ascending state. hell is a horny rising state. Both states can be reached at the same time, also. "Up" and "air" have in common a rise and an ascend, right? Right! Then now we all get 1 Thess 4's use of those two words.

Satan was beheld to fall as lightning from heaven (the state). Similar to the Lord in 1 Thess 4 w/ instead of the word fall used, descend is used. Descend from? Heaven (a state).

Since the rapture was coined long ago, I'm now coining what has been in the bible as THE PUT OFF and THE CHANGE and THE PUT ON!

As for popular artworks of red devils and angels w/ halos...

The red color to a devil of someone's art represents a great feeling sensational state of hell fire received.

The halo drawn over a head of an angel of someone's art represents a great feeling sensational state of heaven received.

Both feel really damn great feeling when received. Hell fire is usually felt in a person's chest as some kind of rapid rising lusty desire sensation. Heaven is usually felt in a person's head as some kind of euphoria ascending sensation.

You're thinking of the 2nd Circle, which is Lust.

why would such conditions be places? places are physical. whatever survives death is not.

the notion of whatever follows death in this life, being any more eternal then this life itself, is not one i can observe any basis for.

but HOW you experience things, resulting from how you have made yourself to be, that makes purfect sense.

in short, death may not be any more perminent then life, but rather, we may all be born again and again and again, each time into a different physical life on a random different world.

that would be more consistent with how reality works within this life, and really there is no observable reason to expect it to work differently in some other.

that is not to say every behavior does not sooner or later earn its predictable result. and sometimes its debt is collected in a different life then that in which it was earned.

there may be some placeless place experienced between lives. well there may be anything.

but segrigation based on previous behavior is unneccessary, when habbits form the manor in which existence is experienced.

    pretty much.
if there had never been christianity, islam or judaism, what would be the point of inventing a satan?
