Random Facts...XLVII

Cicadas were terrible here a few years back, they came out of the ground and then climb the nearest tree, I can remember shoveling wheelbarrows full of them...yuck!!! It was the ones that come out every 17 years...

Calling for storms tonight, it is really humid here today...

 

my country house.. one year the gypsy moth was so bad you could hear them eating. trees bare, had to make sure not to bring any them back on the car.

this one time I had a chip bag full of caterpillar and tossed it into another school bus window from our bus window.. funny as hell. probably go to jail for that shit today..

 

i think those are the same?...isnt gypsy moth what comes from a tent caterpillar

i can remember taking a flip on my bike when i was a kid....from driving over caterpillars...there was so many it was like a oil slick...except mustardy

 

I hiked to a waterfall with the family for my sister's birthday today.

 

yeah, they call them tent worms too.. just nasty things we would burn out of trees and bushes close to the house. cranberry bushes destroyed by them. that was something out the horror movies they was.

 

I miss the daily report of bees flying north, that i used to see on the news back in the mid 80s

 

i usually spray the trees with diluted dish soap


a few times on the really bad years i bought some special kind of mold to spray that kills them some natural way...it worked real good

 

If i could just find the spare time i would fix up that back hall and out up a bunch of posters.maybe would even buy new ones from here.

 

We should ship some to the south pole. There's enough pinguins I think

 

Nice sunny day...Going to be in the upper 70's tomorrow...Good day to mow...

On my bicycle ride yesterday I saw a possum head, nothing else just the head...

i just passed another kidney stone..a small one this time

i sure wish they would go away

 

my sandals are just about worn completely but im stretching it out to total failure because i love the way they fit so perfect

 

i dont have any this year.. Its tennis or barefoot.

I got the uric kind which is the least bad kind to get. Or as the doc says "the most treatable". Mine dont look anything like that one in the picture though mine look more like a rock than a crystal.

 

my doctors a lazy old son of a bitch who doesnt even ask for descriptions or samples

his idea of helping is just saying drink more water then he fills in his government billing forms and walks away


by the way...this is stone number 2 since his expert analysis of ultrasound results told him i was clear and they had all passed
