Going to Amsterdam for the first time somewhere in second part of July. Anyone going similar time and would like to meet there?
How do you travel? If you go by car you should go via Erfurt and visit Stoned from the underground (11,12 & 13 july) :biggrin: I go there too After that I'm broke but I never go to Amsterdam for chilling and stuff anyway. Just thought I let you know of this option because it's a good festival.
Planning to go by train, Erfurt is too far away. But good to know about it, maybe I'll visit it in the future. There are quite few festivals in Amsterdam in July, but sadly mostly electronic music... http://whatsupwithamsterdam.com/festivals-amsterdam-2013/
Ah yes, train is also a good option I'm sure you will have a good time in Amsterdam with or without visiting a festival either way but it's good to check out what you would like otherwise you might spend your whole visit in the coffeeshop/banana bar or go to some of the lame tourist museums :biggrin: I'd recommend one of the better museums if you have a slight interest in art and/or history but skip things like marijuana or sex museum. Don't skip the marijuana of course
I think Van Gogh museum is a must. I've seen also alot of history museums, but didn't look too deeply into them yet. I guess they will have something in relation to Ancient Romans. There are also some technology museums, but idk if they are worth visiting. I guess it is nothing close to Munich one. Hopefully people I meet will have some ideas I have missed. But even the worst case scenario is the best scenario ever... (spending week in a coffeshop) Azarius is located in Amsterdam. Truffles & salvia are being planned...
Only if you like his paintings I don't know either but I do love the scheepsvaartmuseum which is about sheepfarts. But really it's about ships and dutch sea trade routes etc. I dare to recommend it but yeah only if you are in some way interested If you get a bit tired of the place you can always go for a walk and go into another one :biggrin: Atmosphere can differ a lot between coffeeshops Great, another drugged tourist on the streets of Amsterdam
I have been to Amsterdam many times. I never make plans before I goo because I forget then when I arrive:ssmokeit: You will have a blast doing you're own thing the dam has something for everyone. Just enjoy the trip:sifone:
Just came back, had really great time Took me some time to get used to coffeshops and going everywhere stoned, but it was worth it. These dudes looking for high people on streets and offering "coca, extazy?" can be a bit annoying, especially if you are paranoid...
Nice to know you had a really great time..:2thumbsup: yes dealers on the street can piss you off but its all part of the excitement in A'dam:ssmokeit:
