looks like he cleaned up the mess left by the drunkard Yeltsin who sold out Russia to the neoliberal mafia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Putin
Great man, people in Russia and Eastern Europe love him. Been there myself a few times, seen and heard it from many people.
putin would kick the ass of any of the western leaders. he is a dictator, who rules by fear and brutality, but he is also cunning and intelligent. i think he is likely the equal or a better man than uncle joe was....and that's saying something. there is no mistaking what he is about...he may mouth platitudes, but they are far more empty than anything said in the west. fidel castro and that punk from venezuela wish they had stones 1/10th as big as putin's. i think putin was in charge of the 'domestication' of chechnya in the second war. look it up on wiki...he knows how to deal with troublemakers. if we were truly unlucky, we would have someone like him in the u.s.. our population has no clue how to deal with anything like that. hell, they can't deal with the pussies we have now. we are ripe for someone like putin, and may get someone of that ilk. the stupid ast intellectual socialists will be the first to hang.
Yaah, Yeltsin was better worth discussing on the matter of democracy. If democracy comes to concrete concerns about various community interactions then democracy was possible with decided requirements of the payments for the questioning public: some would be listened to more than others; and criminals didn't pay their taxes. And...?:mickey:
he takes shit from no one, i respect him for not wanting cocks in his ass by the US & UN and corporatism, obama is a power hungry dickhead who is killing the middle east because he has cocks in his ass
Georgians actually hate him, cous Russia ocupated some parts of Georgia, but I think he is very clever man..
I just saw something on tv about him...uggghh, he was intense and brutal. The way he had people impaled, was horrific!
Former KGB spy and interrogator is now a gangster using the Russian military and economy to bully the rest of the world. He is still nothing better than a thug with a gang behind him.
Wow. Russian political opposition leader: Boris Nemtsov shot down on the street, just steps from The Kremlin. Assassinated. Six shots. Body laying on the pavement. Paulie Castellano style. So what do you think of Vladimir Putin?
One of the clearest examples of mafia capitalism. I'm glad he's not leading my country. Too bad he's the president of such a big country. That's my opinion. Even though Russia as a nation may had use for him doesn't mean he's the greatest thing that could happen to Russia. Nearly. But yeah, a lot of older russians who lived in the Soviet union have fond memories and nostalgic thoughts about the USSR and Stalin so we can't really blame the russian people. Look at most of their national newspapers. If you think americans are getting brainwashed... Let's hope it takes a different direction in a generation or 2. Not sure where that will go (even if the people had the power), as I have the feeling Russia's youth are quite diverse in their political/societal orientations and affiliations. People may correct me if I'm wrong on that
Can you elaborate on how exactly you determined this? It sounds kind of childish, empty and impulsive. If not: What criteria did you use to reach that conclusion?
