Hello..need some advice, I am growing indoors and just transplanted some plants to my flower box a couple weeks ago. Recently just noticed some mushroom type fungi growing in my soil. Is this harmful to my plants? If so, How do I get rid of this fungi problem?? Is there a fungicide to use that will not harm my plants??

Generally, the presence of mushrooms is beneficial to other plants.

    How wet is the soil?

Kind of wet since these are new plants coming up.

Let it dry out a little and the "problem" will probably go away.

Purchased soil often produces mushrooms when kept wet.

Aren't Mushrooms and other fungis semi-good to have in the soil? I thought it ment it was heathly or something...

    Or maybe not...

Go to a Garden place and ask to fungi-killers. Or use a 9 iron...lol.
